Congratulations on winning a free Personal Branding Experience from CatMax Photography! Tell us about your photoshoot experience.

I truly enjoyed my Personal Branding Experience with CatMax Photography! Cat's professionalism and creative vision made the entire process seamless and inspiring. She has an incredible eye for capturing meaningful details, and we were able to highlight key aspects of my company in a way that truly reflects its essence. The final photos are beautiful, and I’m so grateful for this experience!

How did you prepare for your branding photoshoot?

We focused on showcasing the essence of our company’s aesthetic. We carefully arranged our workspace with key design elements that represent our brand’s style. Additionally, we scheduled a design appointment at one of our favorite tile showrooms to capture a glimpse of our daily work process. This approach allowed us to create authentic and visually compelling images that truly reflect what we do.

Why did you think a branding photoshoot would be beneficial for your business?

I believe that strong branding starts with the right photos. Clean and thoughtful headshots that reflect my brand, my work values, and my team’s identity help create a professional and cohesive image. A branding photoshoot enhances my social media presence and elevates my website’s design, making it more visually appealing and engaging for potential clients.

Which photos from the shoot are some of your favorites and why?

Some of my favorite photos are the ones that capture me and my team working on our designs, reviewing floor plans, and selecting materials. These images truly showcase our creative process and the services we offer, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how we bring our projects to life. They reflect the passion and dedication that go into every design we create.

Would you say you tend to stick to a particular design style, or do you do a bit of everything?

I would say my design style is a blend of modern and classic elements. I love exploring new trends and innovative ideas, but I also appreciate the timeless beauty of classic mid-century design. This combination allows me to create spaces that feel fresh and contemporary while maintaining a sense of elegance and history.

Where do you draw inspiration for your designs?

I draw inspiration from my clients first — I love to see their vision, aesthetics, and inspirations before beginning the design process. From there, I focus on color and the overall style of their home to create a space that feels cohesive and harmonious along with organic shapes that bring a natural and fluid feel to the space.

What words of wisdom do you have for fellow women entrepreneurs?

My advice to fellow women entrepreneurs is to believe in themselves and their abilities. Confidence is key! Don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed and focus on building a strong team of professionals who share your vision and are committed to helping your business grow. Success comes from collaboration, perseverance, and trusting yourself along the way.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Family is the most important thing to me, so in my free time, I love spending quality moments with my husband and kids. Whether it’s enjoying a fun outing, relaxing at home, or creating special memories together, nothing brings me more joy than being with them.
