Today, we invite you to meet Regan Maki Couch, award-winning Realtor® and second-generation woman entrepreneur. As the founder of The Regan Maki Team, she helps luxury and everyday clients buy and sell homes and commercial properties in addition to overseeing an exceptional group of agents alongside her husband. Your mother was a real estate agent, and you’ve been one for more than two decades. What do you love about working in this industry?
I am humbled and take it as a tremendous honor when buyers and/or sellers reach out to me to represent them in their home-buying or -selling transactions. People typically move because of life changes, and the happy ones (i.e., marriage, babies, blending of families, etc.) are always delightful and full of joy, but there are other life changes that are sad (i.e., the death of a loved one, downsizing, divorce, loss of job, etc.) that really give me a sense of pride to be the trusted advisor that is hired to protect the person’s/family’s interest.
I know that when people are vulnerable, oftentimes, they don't make the best decisions because they are emotional or have extenuating circumstances and pressures. So, when engaged to help in those types of situations, my ‘momma bear’ instincts come out to protect my clients’ interests; I do not take that lightly. After all, I am the voice of reason, the one they trust, the person they are relying on to look out for them, and I will ALWAYS work to protect and negotiate the best terms on their behalf. It's what I do, and I love it.

With a distinguished 25-year career in real estate, I have built a reputation for integrity, in-depth market knowledge, and exceptional client service. Over the past two-and-a-half decades, I have successfully guided thousands of clients through the complex processes of buying, selling, and investing in residential and commercial properties.
My journey in real estate has been defined by a strong commitment to results and long-lasting relationships. I’ve navigated shifting markets with resilience and foresight, delivering consistent value to clients regardless of economic conditions. From first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, I’ve had the privilege of helping a diverse clientele achieve their goals with confidence.
